I have been incredibly lucky to photograph and be part of many beautiful weddings, at many exceptional wedding venues across Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and the wider UK. It’s hard to pick ‘favourites’ as I enjoy them all equally, no wedding is the same and they all bring their own unique and special charachteristics. Three weddings that come to mind as being very memorable are as follows;
STUNNING WEDDING AT HESKIN HALL
Leanne and Ross two very charming individuals found love in their home town of Wigan. Lively bridal preparations for their wedding day began early at Kilhey Court in Lancashire. A magnificent wedding ceremony at the spectacular St Wilfred’s church in Standish presented some beautiful wedding photography opportunities. Wedding reception celebrations soon gathered pace at the stunning Lancashire wedding venue of Heskin Hall. A wonderful wedding day!
ROMANTIC WEDDING AT FARINGTON LODGE
Ian and Sarah a very glamorous couple from Chorley celebrated their romantic wedding day locally in Lancashire. The beautiful grade II listed house of Farington Lodge, close to Preston, provided the perfect wedding venue for their special event. With over three acres of lawns and gardens there were plenty of occasions for beautiful wedding photographs. A romantic couple a romantic day!
INTIMATE CITY WEDDING AT THE RACQUET CLUB LIVERPOOL
It was an absolute pleasure to photograph this amazing couple, Helen and David, on their wedding day in Liverpool! Both based in the Merseyside area, they decided to celebrate their wedding at the impressive Raquet Club Hotel, in the heart of Liverpool. Once a private gentleman’s club, this historic building now serves as home to such joyous wedding occassions. If you’re looking for a small intimate city wedding venue, this is the perfect setting.

You know that old saying “new year, new me”? Well, ahead of the fast approaching 2025, we’ve decided to switch some things up around here and add a dash more sparkle into Bouquet and Bells.
This shoot was inspired wholly by the vastness and beauty of the venue as well as the unitarians inspiring ethos: Ullet Road Unitarian Church. We chose a beautiful day for the shoot, meaning the light flooding into the building and outside of the building was beautiful. We had a selection of dresses to change into for different parts of the church, and we utilised the late in different rooms and at different windows, as well as the doors for the iconic confetti shots.
Your wedding is a magical day which will stay with you forever. However, it’s unquestionable that with a tag like that, there’s also going to be an element of pressure you need to manage. 84% of brides report feeling some sort of stress about their big day. And while a lot of this comes hand-in-hand with planning a large event, it’s unquestionable that standing in front of anyone as the “star of the show” is going to get the nerves jangling.
