Tell us about the services you offer.
I am a storytelling filmmaker, based in Cheshire. I love to tell the story of my weddings in a unique way, creating timeless accounts full of beauty and emotion. My approach is candid. I capture naturally what is happening in front of my lens, seeking out genuine intimate moments, while maintaining a low profile.
I have designed a service which allows couples to build a bespoke Wedding Film Collection, based on their individual needs. Starting with my ‘Classic’ package, couples receive a Highlight Film, along with full Ceremony and Speeches films. The alternative base package, ‘Contemporary’, consists of a Highlight Film and Social Media Film. From there, couples have a range of enhancements available to craft and curate their personalised package, these include a longer Feature Film, Drone, Interview and all elements of the base packages to ensure complete customisation.
I understand that for many, being filmed can feel daunting. My approach to this is very simple; I film discreetly; naturally capturing what is happening to give a timeless account of the day. due to the use of small and unimposing cameras and equipment, often guests assume I am the photographer’s assistant and that is the dream! If people feel relaxed then I get real, in the moment shots, leading to a totally natural wedding film collection. Along with this approach, I am a true perfectionist in all that I do which guarantees every wedding film collection I craft will have my heart and soul poured into it
What areas do you cover?
I have been fortunate enough to work in a lot of amazing venues, and although I am based in Cheshire, I am available to capture weddings worldwide. I have packages available for destination weddings, please enquire for more information.
When and how did it all begin?
I perfected my videography skills during a successful 12-year career working as a Performance Analyst at multiple Professional Football Clubs, including Bournemouth, Blackburn Rovers and last but by no means least, the pinnacle of my sporting career, Manchester United.
While working at Manchester United, I got married. I recall my then fiancé broaching the subject of hiring a videographer for our wedding day, my reaction was a firm no – more money and not essential. Thankfully, she didn’t listen! As a result, having a videographer has undoubtedly been the one element we would choose to have again and again. We watch our precious films regularly with each other, family, friends (old and new) and now, our young daughters, who love it even more than we do!
The feel-good factor involved with wedding filmmaking totally inspired me to take a leap of faith and change career to becoming a wedding filmmaker myself. It’s something I now feel extremely privileged to do. Not only is it completely fulfilling and ‘good work’, but I am also able to let my creativeness flow and ensure couples can relive their wedding day over and over again, feeling the raw emotions and remembering all those previous moments.
Experiencing my own wedding day, as well as becoming a Dad myself, I have developed a strong empathy for those precious moments – holding a hand you have held for a lifetime as you walk down the aisle, sentimental words spoken during speeches and the joy of having all the people you love together in one place. Nothing beats it, so the fact that I am now able to capture these moments makes me feel incredibly lucky.
What do you love most about working with couples?
Despite my minimal and discreet style, I’m a very creative and personable individual. Relationships and ensuring my couples feel good is paramount to me. I love the journey we take, from the initial talks, the build-up, the all-important big day and the come down after. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster and I feel so touched to be part of their special process.
I have been fortunate to film many amazing weddings in beautiful locations. If I had to choose my favourite to date would be the elegant Normandy Chateau de Courtomer in France. Capturing destination weddings are of course a highlight to any videographer’s year, and this intimate and rustic occasion truly exceeded my expectations.
Saying that, we are spoilt for choice for incredible wedding venues in Cheshire and beyond, and even though I love destination weddings, I love shooting at local venues just as much, venues like Arley Hall (where I am also a recommended supplier), Holford Hall, Owen House… the outstanding list goes on. The changing environments of different wedding venues is another reason why I love being a wedding videographer, no wedding is ever the same!

My business has been running for two years.
My main catchment area is Cheshire, however I am available to travel nationally and internationally.
I typically do 20-25 weddings per year. This allows me to dedicate quality time to each.
I offer a consultation in the final month – this can be face-to-face or online, whichever suits my couples more. Getting this face-to-face time is an essential part of my process, ensuring a connection is built along with understanding the final wedding design to inform my planning.
I ask my couples to pay a 25% deposit to secure their date. Following this, the remaining balance is required 30 days prior to the wedding date.

This shoot was inspired wholly by the vastness and beauty of the venue as well as the unitarians inspiring ethos: Ullet Road Unitarian Church. We chose a beautiful day for the shoot, meaning the light flooding into the building and outside of the building was beautiful. We had a selection of dresses to change into for different parts of the church, and we utilised the late in different rooms and at different windows, as well as the doors for the iconic confetti shots.
Your wedding is a magical day which will stay with you forever. However, it’s unquestionable that with a tag like that, there’s also going to be an element of pressure you need to manage. 84% of brides report feeling some sort of stress about their big day. And while a lot of this comes hand-in-hand with planning a large event, it’s unquestionable that standing in front of anyone as the “star of the show” is going to get the nerves jangling.
