Cinematic Matt creates story-driven wedding photography and films across Cheshire, Chester, North Wales and the wider UK, as well as destination weddings worldwide.

My approach is relaxed, friendly and creative. I love capturing the genuine moments as they happen, while also creating those big cinematic portraits that look incredible on the wall or on screen.

Whether it’s an intimate wedding in the UK or an adventure somewhere completely different, the aim is simple: beautiful imagery, an amazing experience and memories that actually feel like you.

How long has your business been running?

6+ years professionally.
How many weddings do you typically do each year?

Around 20-30 - I like to allow a nice amount of time to give each wedding the time it deserves in the editing suite also.
What's your main catchment area?

Based near Chester, most of my weddings seem to be Chester, Shropshire, North Wales but I do cover the whole of the UK and Abroad. I love traveling and am happy to travel anywhere for a good action packed wedding with a lovely couple! 
Do you offer face-to-face consultation?

I offer both face to face or zoom type calls. What ever works best for each couple.
What are your deposit terms?

Typically £300 deposit and a contract to secure the date.

We had a large hanging arrangement at the top of the aisle, which was then moved to sit behind us during the wedding breakfast. It had such a strong impact and worked beautifully in both settings. We met Mel through a Bouquet and Bells wedding fayre and I'm so pleased we did. Our summer wedding was autumnal colours so I didn't make it easy but Mel understood what I was looking for and delivered. She was so helpful and lovely, and my flowers were perfect. All the flower meadows were being fought over by my guests to take home with them! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I have no idea about flowers whatsoever so I trusted Mel completely to provide something that would work! My venue isn't used for weddings much, but she even went and found a picture of my venue to include in our proposal which was such a nice touch.
