Hi, my name is Jamie, owner of Jamie Ellis Photography providing wedding photography services based in Chester, Cheshire. My mantra and company moto is “Capture The Moments That Matter” and with your wedding day being one of the single most important days of your life, that’s my mission!

My main goal is to add enjoyment to your big day and to help & support you throughout the day in any way I can. Not only with you, but with your family and friends, I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed with me being amongst them so I can really capture the emotion of your day that you didn’t even know was there.

My approach to photographing your wedding is very informal, relaxed and to try and have a bit of fun, but always staying professional. It’s always good to have some of the traditional “staged” photos of the happy couple, family, bridal party etc… and that’s absolutely something we can incorporate into your day. However, I love capturing the natural and raw moments & emotion throughout the day, I truly believe these are the best photographs.

I offer four main wedding packages that most of the time cover all requirements and budgets, but I am always happy to discuss any specific requirements that these may not cover. I’m based in Chester and primarily cover Chester, Cheshire, Wrexham, North Wales and the North West, but I’m more than happy to travel anywhere. I can’t pick one standout venue, each venue and location is special to each individual couple and so whether it’s a conference hall or a castle, my aim is to make the most of the environment at each individual location and capture the best memories possible for the couple.

Jamie was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I am not comfortable with having my photo taken and he put me at ease and made the whole experience relaxing and fun. We had an engagement photo shoot which was a lovely day and we had some lovely photos. I can’t recommend Jamie enough. Where do I even start, if I could give more stars I would! Jamie is absolutely amazing. From start to finish of our wedding even before the wedding with keeping in touch through email and meetings in person he’s been a star and made our wedding that even more special. Capturing every moment so perfectly! He is such a friendly and happy person to be around making you feel so at ease when he’s pointing a camera at you and that sometimes you forget he’s even there… which if your like me and hate getting photos taken is a blessing. An Alternative Church Wedding with Unique Outfits

This shoot was inspired wholly by the vastness and beauty of the venue as well as the unitarians inspiring ethos: Ullet Road Unitarian Church. We chose a beautiful day for the shoot, meaning the light flooding into the building and outside of the building was beautiful.
