Ben Walker Photography is celebrating over 15 years in the wedding photography business, based in the North Wales, Cheshire & Staffordshire area. I’m a wedding photographer who adores capturing once in a lifetime memories. While I’m based in the the North West, I love to travel wherever my clients find their perfect location.

I like to take a relaxed approach to my wedding photos, focusing on moments of joy & happiness, captured naturally, often with guests not noticing I am there.

I love learning about my couples story, how they met, & what bought them together, it’s often what I am thinking about as I am capturing their wedding day. I also love meeting all their guests at weddings; as a wedding portrait photographer, I find weddings to be the best place in the world to capture all the interesting people & characters always found there.

Previous Weddings

It’s hard to narrow down previous weddings as there are so many, however my fav venue where I’ve shot many weddings would be Chateau Rhianfa on Anglesey, only an hour from Cheshire – its such a magical venue & the views from this beautiful Chateau are surely unmatched with Snowdonia being a stunning vista. Over towards the Midlands area I also love The Oaks wedding venue due to its mystical forest & rustic vibe which I absolutely love.

When it comes to wedding photographers, it is hard not to review the person as well as they’re finished work. Yes, the photos were awesome, if you’ve seen the photos on Ben’s site or his socials, you’ll know that was never in doubt. But as your photographer is probably going to be the person who is around you most throughout the day, it’s important to know that you’re going to get on with them. Ben is an absolute delight! He immediately puts people at ease, and is always up for any weird ideas you throw at him, in fact the stranger the better. Engagement photos as a sword fight in an abandoned mansion? Sure thing. Bridal photos in front of a TARDIS? No problem. Turning your wedding party into a film set? Oh hey, I know a great idea how we can do that! Nothing phases him. The three things Ben is passionate about are his van, his dog Daisy, and capturing memories you’ll treasure forever. You definitely want him for your big day.
