A Brand New Wedding Fayre at Pentrehobyn, North Wales

For those brides and grooms dreaming of a picturesque manor house as the venue for their wedding, look no further than Pentrehobyn, based in North Wales.

Pentrehobyn Estate is a beautiful Grade 1 listed Jacobean manor based near Mold, North Wales. The house has 7 stunning double bedrooms that can accommodate up to 14 guests, meaning your family members will be able to stay on site for the night of the wedding. Each bedroom has a private, en-suite bathroom, as well as unique features, including carved mantelpieces. The whole place is steeped in history and is perfect for your dream wedding.

 

Arriving at Pentrehobyn

Your guests will be wowed as they come down the idyllic tree-lined drive. It’s also the perfect drive for your classic car, horse and carriage, or sports car. Whatever transport you choose, you’ll definitely be making an entrance! As you turn the first corner round to the estate, your guests will catch their first glimpse of the house.

The estate is surrounded by 100 acres of land, ensuring complete quiet and privacy. There are 3 acres of garden to explore within the wall that surrounds the house, and there’s a south-facing Victorian garden situated in the Coach House.

The house itself was built in 1625 by Edward Lloyd, and is full of historic features, including the oak-panelled central hall, and the drawing and dining rooms that both have open fires.

 

The Hall

Pentrehobyn is a place of luxury, where the bedding is duck feather, and the linen is Italian. Every detail will be thought of for your wedding to ensure the day runs smoothly and perfectly. They can even offer in house catering, with a wide variety of canapes, starters, mains and desserts to choose from.

The Coach House

The Coach House is located south of the main hall, and has been refurbished beautifully. It has gorgeous high ceilings, and double doors that lead you out into your own private walled garden. The property boasts warmth with a wood burner, central heating, and even underfloor heating, making it the ideal space for any time of the year.

The house contains four bedrooms, 2 on either ‘wing’ of the building, meaning it can accommodate up to 8 people. The superking beds are luxurious and the perfect place to sleep after a long day.

If you want to entertain and host your own mini-party in the Coach House, a charcoal barbeque is available, as well as seats and tables, a parasol, cooking equipment and crockery.

 

The Coach House and the main hall can be rented out together or separately, depending on what you want for your day.

 

The Pentrehobyn Wedding Fayre

The wedding fayre at Pentrehobyn is being hosted on 17th March, between 11am and 3pm. It’s located in the Coach House as well as the surrounding outdoor space.

Around 30 local suppliers will be attending the fayre, including a Prosecco bar. There will be catwalk shows, live demos from hand-picked exhibitors, and a taste of fine dining. Entry is free, and every bride will receive an exclusive goody bag, as well as a copy of the top latest bridal magazine.
